2 Challenges, 1 Card

Just doing a quick post to get this card into the challenges at the cuttlebug spot and BBTB2. At the cuttlebug spot we had to make a card based on a sketch and at BBTB2 it was to use the owl cut from Storybook. Well, this was quite the challenge for me! I've never really done a card based on someone else's sketch before, so it was a new experience. I can't say I'm a big fan of owls, nothing against them or anything, but I didn't know what to do with one on a card! There was another challenge that I missed the deadline for that was to make a Christmas card without red and green, which is why that's what this card is. I'm not sure I'm extremely happy with this card since it's so out of my element, but I guess it's okay for a first try. I embossed the bottom mat with victoria and the white mat with distressed stripes. I added some stickles and inked edges and put a little bling on. The lights at the bottom are from Create a Critter and I believe the branch is as well. Guess that's it! Have a great Saturday night!
