Guess I've been gone awhile! My life has been getting in the way lately, and believe me you don't want to know the details! Well, birthday season is in swing and I made this card for my daughter whose birthday was two weeks ago. She wasn't that impressed with it, but that's ok. The base and 7 candles (6 +1 for good luck!) are from Wild Card, and the borders and font are from Storybook. I ran the glitter paper thru the CB with the D'vine Swirls folder. I really like embossing glitter paper, it's a two for one, glitter plus dimension! I used the prismatic paper I got from WalMart, I just love the way it shines! Patterned cupcake paper is from DCWV and I used an EK Succes border punch on it. The whole thing is a little too pink for me, but that's my daughter's favorite color, so I had to go with it! She had a little surprise on her birthday, my parents finally came for a visit! I think my daughter was three the last time she saw them, so she didn't really know them at first. It was good to see them again and we got to enjoy cake together! All I kept thinking was I wish I had that Cricut cake machine, I could have made her a really cool cake! Maybe next year? I just have to convince DH I really need it, that's all! Anyway, I do have some more things to post, so I won't be gone so long. I am really loving that Easter 2010 cartridge and I've been playing around with it a bit, so there's more to come! Thanks for looking!
