Here is my first try at an easel card. I've seen these around quite a bit but I was inspired to make one after I watched Mary at Cardz TV making one. I think they're a nice break from the common card. I used Winter Woodland for the poinsettia and altered it a bit using the Gypsy to fit on the card. The label for the Merry Christmas is the poinsettia tag also altered in the Gypsy. I embossed the poinsettia with the Textile Texture CB folder. I don't have any of the new ones, so that was the best one I could find in my collection! I also tried my hand at using a little dimension like Donna does over at Popsicle Toes. It really makes such a difference! (Thank you Donna, for being so inspiring!). The paper is from the Basic Grey Figgy Pudding collection. I love that paper!! I have such trouble figuring out what colors go together well, so it was nice to be able to use papers from the same pack that I knew would match. I think it came together well. Now I have to figure out who to give it to since I didn't have anyone in mind when I made it! Thanks for taking a look and have a great Christmas!
